Thank you God, fall semester has finally come to an end. My wonderful babe Stephanie is coming back to LA in a week. I can't wait, so extremely excited!!!

I'm moving around new years, leaving Brentwood behind for a bit. I don't even know myself where I'm going yet but that's just a part of my life adventure and I love it.

Happy Thanksgiving, hope you all had a wonderful time. It's been a while, I know. Life is wonderful as usual and I'm becoming happier and happier each day. If I'd have to summarize the last month or two since I updated, I would probably just write what I usually write. Life is very busy, but in a good way. Stephanie is coming back in a month. I can't wait. Have no plans (yet) for Christmas but positive that it will be amazing. Alright friends, going for a run. Love.

It's been a while, I know. Life is, as usual, busy. I have moved to Brentwood, totally love the area. I also started volunteering at West LA animal shelter but not sure if I can continue due to an awful allergic reaction I got last time I visited. Would be too sad if I can't continue, at the same time I need to put my health and wellness first. Other than that, the weather is beautiful. Working out is taking much of my time this summer and of course, it's wonderful getting in total shape again. It's Sunday and I just got some snacks at Trader Joe's. Having a chill night @ my love's, watching a movie and eating yummy things. Life is good. See ya!

Life is wonderful. I have summer break and spend most of my days taking long walks, enjoying life in every single way I can. It is certainly nice being able to relax a bit, not what I'm used to. Yesterday was 4th of July, just another day for people to drink and also have an excuse for drinking (celebrating huh). We just had an nice, quite evening at home with the dog. Surprisingly nice! Taking another walk with dogge and I'm ready to work out, yay!

Minutes, hours, days pass by and life keeps changing with every breath you take. So much have happened over the last month, I don't even know where to begin. Life is certainly like a roller coaster and at the moment, I'm just about to reach the top. Spring semester is officially over and I can finally breath again. I feel great knowing that I have about two months to recover, start working out like a nut and simply enjoy life. It's been a stressful, interesting, challenging and fun semester. I'm not even thinking about fall, it's all about summer, and I believe this is going to be an amazing one.

Life as a Single women.

Another relationship has come to an end. I am now officially single, and even though it's a bit sad, it feels so good. When you finally understand and realize what you are worth and not, it is pretty easy to make a decision. I moved to Hollywood with lots of help from my wonderful friend Stephanie on Saturday, thank you so much. I can't express how much I appreciate you helping me/ being there. My room mate is super cool and the location is great even though it's far from school. It feels good to start over somewhere totally different. I just had math and will probably be working on my homework for a couple of hours before my evening fashion class starts. Before I take off I want to write it down, how much I love and miss my mother, who is the best mom in the world. Your support, all the listening you have done, and all good advice, means the world to me. And also, thanks to ALL my friends here and there, for being there for me when I need you the most. I am so greatful to have such amazing people in my life. It's about time to meet more amazing people and being single is the best way doing it ;)

It's finally here, thank god. I got an A on my last math exam 20/20, surprised? Yes, but VERY HAPPY! I have TONS of homework though and I will probably not go on a trip but hopefully there'll be plenty of fun things to do here in LA! My lunch is cooked and waiting for me, talk later!

A moment, a love a dream, a laugh..

Last weekend was pretty awesome. Spent time with friends and boyfriend, lots of food and studying. I met up with Susanne and her friend at the beach on Friday after my math class, the weather was totally wonderful. We also did some shopping on 3rd street, again, I spent more than I should have! In the evening I went to Shilan's place for a little while to talk and catch up. Later on R and I got some snacks and watched a movie at home. I was studying during the day on Saturday which was pretty boring but had to be done. R and I went to the Veggie Grill to have lunch and went to the movies after (Limitless, great movie)! Later at night I went to KRESS with Shilan and CO, Fun night! Got 3 hours sleep before I woke up and continued with my homework assignments. R and I went to Pizza Fushion in Hollywood on Sunday where I ordered the Farmers Market and also a Vegan Brownie for dessert. We also tried a Beer Float (ice cream AND beer) which was pretty weird, R didn't like it too much but I thought it was pretty yummy! The reason we went to Pizza Fushion was because ARME (Animals Rescue Media Education) received a percentage of our pay, yay! And ofcourse because they have delicious food! In the afternoon we did laundry, cleaned out the whole apartment etc.. In the evening we were just chillin at home. Some pictures below from the weekend :)

I did my second math exam yesterday, I hope it went well. I am turning in my final paper for my counseling class today, and since it's a 8-week class it's over. HAPPINESS! I better get ready for school now. Spring break is almost here, can't wait. Hope ya all had a wonderful weekend and lots of fun!

Tuesday, one day closer to the weekend! It's 9.45 and I'm about to get ready and leave for school. I'm having my math tutor plus math class. Today I'm actually going home during my break to have lunch, too lazy to bring all my stuff now. Present? Not at all. At least not for homework, ugh. I'v had a great weekend. Saturday we met up with friends @ Q's. The night did not end as we planned but it was fun anyways, nice to see Rachel and Shaun, Stephanie and Claire!! Yesterday R and I went to Savyon to try their 'All you can eat Vegan Buffet'. SO YUMMY! I definitely have to go back ASAP. Later on I walked over to Shilan's place and we ended up at My Studio, a lot of dancing. Fun night!! Today I'v been trying my hardest (?) to finish up homework but as I said, not very interesting. Claire came over for a while and we said goodbye for a last time. It's below 60 degrees in LA, not what I want/ need ;)

Had a great day, gym in the morning. Skype with my babe Linda and Mommy, sending you both lots of love! After our Skype I had a shower and I took the bus downtown Santa Monica. I planned only to get a warmer jacket since I am cold ALL the time (!). But, I got home with 3 bikinis, a (fake, of course) leather jacket, a top and a jumpsuit. Ooppps. I also got the only thing I was supposed to get, ONE zipper, haha. I met up with Claire after and we went to Venice, spent the afternoon there. Nice but super windy!! She drove me home, I had dinner and went to the coin laundry right around the corner. Me and my Mexican buddies were hanging out there ;)

Tomorrow, back to school! Getting my math test back (or hopefully not, it's gonna be embarrassing!!).

Hey friends!

I'v been busy the last couple of days but it's about time to update my blog! I was off Thursday last week and for St. Patrick's day we went to Q's to hang out for a while. I had to review and study for a math test I had Friday so we went home early, was unnecessary because I didn't know anything at the test anyways. Ugh, I seriously can't WAIT till my math days are over. It's going to be such a relief! I went to the gym after school and in the evening R's friend came over with her child whom I hang out with pretty much all night. It was nice taking easy because I got up at 7AM on Saturday to go workout with Bob Harper @ Crunch. He had an amazing spin class and I was totally exhausted after 1 hour and 15 minutes but it was SO much fun. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a great workout on a Saturday morning! After the class Robert picked me up and we had lunch @ The Veggie Grille, yum!

We went to Amanda and Hayden's graduation in the afternoon but simply had too much to do at home so we had to skip the after party. I finished most my homework yesterday and today I only have to go downtown Santa Monica to pick up a couple of things at Joannes. Hopefully I'll get to see Shilan and Anna too. It's almost 8AM, time's up; Off to the gym!

Not the movie, my life. Or me. Some things in life just doesn't work out the way you want, no matter how hard you try. The thing is I haven't tried that hard yet and it's time to make changes right now. If things doesn't work out, they don't. Not everything in life is meant to be but you can't give up everything just because things get a little difficult. After all, I had a great weekend, Friday and Saturday spent with Shilan and Anna. Friday we went downtown Santa Monica to a restaurant and then back to Shilan's place to spend the night talking and sketching :) Yesterday to Eden and Trousdale, lots of fun!! Today we've just been hanging around @ home, talking, walking, watching movies and now, studying. I better keep up the good work, have my first math test in two days, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend filled with happiness and joy.

It's 7.04AM, I have been up pretty much all night, worried. I have to go back to the dentist today because I am in such pain, I really don't want to but it is necessary :/ Yesterday was a pretty good day, got my counseling essay back; A and the two color scales I have done, both A's. YAY! Today I have my math tutor at 11.30, then math and later on, my fashion class. It's going be a long day so I am going to the gym now, I am probably going be exhausted by 9.30 tonight ;)

By the way, summer MIGHT be back, the weather was amazing yesterday. Finally hot, hot, hot. Just what I need!!

I am so scared right now. I went to the dentist last week to attach my maryland bridge, and my dentist told me some scary things about my gums. Its been hurting since I went there and now I really have to go check it out. I am waiting for my insurance paper from Mom and I pray that they'll be here soon!!

Yesterday's fashion class was terrible. The sewing machines I ended up working on was all missing something, took too much of my energy and didn't know I could get so frustrated over a Juki, haha. Anyways, I am happy I have so many great girls in my class! Today I have counseling and my other fashion class which is from 6.15-10.20. I finished the hues and tints yesterday. Finally. Alright, I am about to get dressed, gotta get my burn for the day before school starts at 12.45. Gym time! Talk later friends! Have a good day!

HEY!

I am happy and the weather is just great! I got back from the gym a couple of minutes ago, I had such a great workout today. Feels so good to be back at the gym and hopefully I won't get sick in like a year or something! The weekend was great too, as always! My love had to go to work on Friday and while he did, I finished a couple of homework assignments. When he got home we decided to have a late lunch at The Veggie Grill, one of my favorite places as you probably know if you follow my blog :) After the yummy food we decided to go hiking nearby so we went to Rivas Canyon Park, a park pretty close to our home. It was such a beautiful day and it was so quite, barely no one there. How I miss the quite nature at times, miss horseback riding and endless nights when all you can hear is your heartbeat. Here in LA on the other hand, I can hear the wonderful sound of the gardeners everyday, my neighbor coughing (he's got serious issues), car alarms, garbage trucks etc. Sometimes I think I'm gonna go nuts. Anyways, the hiking was highly needed!

Saturday I went to the gym early in the morning, then I kept working on a project I have in one of my fashion classes. Later on I went to Cabo Catina with Claire for a couple of drinks, too many weirdos there, but it was fun!! We spent most of the day at home yesterday, we were both exhausted. Watched movies, ate too much food. Simply enjoyed taking it easy :) Today, R is at his 'new job', I am very excited to hear how it goes! Finally some $$ for us, haha. I am about to make lunch, I am always starving after the gym. After lunch I should work on my tan but laying in the sun doing nothing makes me kind of restless.. We'll see.. I want to stop the time, it's passing by way to fast again. Had a great weekend again with my love. We went to the Breadbar last night to watch the Oscars since we don't have a TV! Otherwise there's been a lot of studying going on this weekend at Rochester Avenue. I am annoyed. In a bad moon. Taking the bus to and from school is such a pain in the ass. Not sure why there is a schedule when they are not following it. The bus is late EVERYDAY, whatever direction I am going, ridiculous! Anyways, I am home to pick up my board which is the first 'project' to turn in for the semester. I'm also having a early-super-quick dinner now before I have to get back to school. I have my period and a stomach pain that is killing me, probably why I am in such a bad mood. I'v been eating so much the last days and I can't stop myself, it's awful. Well, gonna continue eating I guess - dinner time! Hope you all have a waaaay better day than I am.

A great, cozy, wonderful Sunday just passed. Went to the gym this morning (I was pretty lazy though, hope that I'll get more energy for tomorrow morning). Have been doing some homework, cooking, eating and helping my love with scheduling stuff. Went to Blick to get a board for one of my fashion classes and tomorrow I'm going downtown Santa Monica to get scissors, hopefully the last thing I will have to buy in a while!! Still ♥ing the Rain!

There's just something about the rain that I love so much. Yesterday I went out for a long walk in the rain, I was out for an hour before I decided to go back home, it was wonderful. I know it sounds odd but it's just one thing I love.

At the moment I am eating overcooked noodles that Robert made for me (hate overcooked whatever it is, but I'll live with it). Went to the movies today, No Strings Attached, good movie, fun but predictable (as always).. I did some shopping too, I feel pretty bad since I spent $200 this morning buying stuff for my Fashion Classes, just TOO expensive!! I'm going to finish up my food and get ready, then walk over to Q's billiard for a beer or two with my love.

Let it begin, one day closer to summer!! It's so exciting to start school again, but exhausting at the same time. I had a great start, Valentine's Day on Monday was wonderful and couldn't wish for a better boyfriend. I got out early today, we were supposed to have class to 10.20PM, thank you Robin, you must have noticed how tired/ hungry I was, haha! I can't write anything else, my food is getting cold and I am SO HUNGRY! By the way, had a wonderful time with Mommy, pictures are being uploaded soon ( I hope)!

Yay, I am picking up Mommy at the airport in one hour, I am so excited!!

Me and R went for a 3 hour walk yesterday, totally lovely. I went to the gym as well in the evening and later on we were just taking it easy at home. Had a great evening! Today I went to the gym in the morning and have only had a shower, lunch and cleaned up our apartment for Mom's arrival. Getting dressed and ready now. Talk to you later :)

Hey you guys!

I don't know what happened to me but I honestly don't have any time for blogging, even though I don't have one single class now during the winter semester. I am so sorry, I'll try my best to update more often.

Last weekend I went to Q's right around the corner, a great bar/ billiard hall. I love that there so many restaurants and bars etc close to where we live. On Saturday we rented a car to go down to San Diego for an award ceremony and dinner at the California Film Awards. Robert won a Silver Level price for his short movie "Singer", I am so proud of him! The ceremony itself was unorganized and pretty boring so after 3 hours of eating, drinking and listening to the host giving out the prices we left. Was a long drive back home and we were both exhausted when we got home after midnight. R had to shoot a scene Sunday and took off early in the morning. I got up and drove to Ingrid and Michael's place and we had breakfast at a Cafe nearby and went to the Flea Market in LA, and another market here in Santa Monica, I had a great time and the weather was wonderful. I went home to grab a bikini and met Claire and her friend Sabrina at the beach. I joined them for an hour or and left because it got cold. I met up R after he was done filming and we had dinner at a vegan joint in Hollywood. Unfortunately he had a meeting at work so I drove him there. I did some shopping when he had his meeting and around 8 we drove back home. Yesterday I went to the gym, I met up with Claire and strolled down 3rd street and watched the beautiful sunset. Today, I have been at the gym and luckily a personal trainer started talking to me and showed me some great examples of workout routines that I can do. He kind of kicked my butt, my legs are still like jelly and it feels funny to walk, haha. That's when you know you had a good workout!!

That pretty much summarizes my weekend and beginning of the week. I just had some lunch and I am tanning on our 'balcony', it's super hot out and I wish we had a pool. I ordered a pair of new running shoes and they are supposed to be delivered today :) Mom is coming in 4 days, I am so excited!!

Life is good, I am back at the gym! This time at Bally's Total Fitness, totally OK! 24 HR Fitness in Hermosa is still my fav one though. Robert and I had our own personal trainers Saturday and I am still sore, no wonder.. It feels so good to start with old routines again!

We bought ourselves bikes last weekend which makes my trip to school so much easier, $85 for a almost new Beach Cruiser, perfect! On the other hand I paid $190 for my math book which was not as much fun. That bookstore sure knows how to make a student poor. Usually I get my books at www.amazon.com, it's always a lot cheaper but this time, I couldn't find the book elsewhere, bummer!!

Mommy is visiting at the end of the month, can't wait to have her here, and we'll have all the time in the world to do fun things. Last time she visited me in Boston I was still working as an Au Pair, I am happy that is different this time, No school and No work! YAY! :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello Dear Friends!

Life is good, really good. I love our new apartment and I am so happy here! Everything is set up and we finally have our own home, haven't lived like this in years so it feels pretty crazy to have so much space! I got my grades and is a little bit disappointed but at the same time I knew that math would take lots of time and energy and I should be happy I passed. I'll work even harder next semester, for sure. I didn't get ANY class that I needed for the Winter semester which kind of sucks, but honestly, I don't have any expectations from SMC anymore. It is what it is. I have my schedule for Spring though and I am pretty happy they way I put it together. Only bad thing is that I have a 5 unit math class which again, will take lots of time :( Anyways, Christmas and New Years was great. I feel that last year was pretty messed up, too many things happened in my life (not only good), but now I am back on track. I didn't really work out at all last semester which contributed to me being in a bad mood more than ever before (embarrassing I know). I am convinced that this year will turn our wonderful. I have SO much energy and everything feels so much better. All the pieces are finally put together! I am back from a 2 hour long walk, and I am starving, breakfast time!

I miss home. I miss my friends. I feel lost. Nothing is going my way right now. I am sick off everything and it's Christmas time. This is not me. Fall Semester is over, thank god. I got my first gift today in the mail, from my dear friend Linda, I love you so much. Thank you, it made my day. Wish I was laying in Mom's knee, getting my hair brushed and fed delicious food. Won't happen this Christmas, maybe next. Maybe it's about time after 3 Christmases. I do think so. Please, let us find an apartment tomorrow, I can't stand this anymore. Ugh. I love the rain, but who does it have to rain this weekend of all weekends? Bad-luck I guess. Studying for my last final which is on Monday. We are still looking for apartments, and everything is kind of crazy, I am so sick of people here (you can't trust anybody). Hopefully we'll get lucky tomorrow, it's time for some changes now. It's December already, how crazy isn't that! School is almost over, finals are coming up and life in general is very, very stressful with lots of pressure! I am so sorry, I am the worst blogger. I haven't had time to update a single time this week.. I have had SO much to do and the week is not over yet. I have also been sick and it's really not a good time. Over Thanksgiving we're going to Grand Canyon and then Las Vegas, R's parents are finally here. Hope I'll be alright and I am going to do my best to keep myself warm and bring TONS of warm clothes, haha.. I have to finish up all homework and start packing, hopefully next week will be less stressful. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving all! I pray for the poor Turkeys though and hope there will be something Vegan, eatable for me as well at the restaurants! Cheers and Love!!

Friday - no school! Love the fact that my weekends are 3 days instead of 2, well needed after 4 hectic days in school. I am going to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills to find fabric swatches and then to Burbank where R is getting his computer. Thankful that we're riding the scooter, I don't need to take the bus, it really takes forever. Gotta go, talk to you later!

Hi Friends!

Another busy week just passed, I had my last Fashion class for the week and we went over project #4. We are designing ten outfits for a celebrity. I have kind of picked mine already, but I am not 100% sure. I will have to do some more research before starting. Think I will go with someone who's vegetarian/ vegan. These people in my eyes need extra attention from me since I am vegan too and have chosen that lifestyle, I always want to know more about others who are too. Anyways, I have pretty much been doing homework all week and it's time to have some fun over the weekend. My love is off and hopefully we'll do something adventurous :) In my next post i PROMISE to upload some pictures from our trip. Sometimes only words gets kind of boring, especially when you are writing about a trip and you have never been the places I am talking about. So, over the weekend I'll post something!

I have to finish up my homework before R is coming home so that I can spend time with him when he gets here. Can't wait to see my love!!

A wonderful weekend has come to an end..

I have had the best weekend in so long, I am so happy that we went on a little road trip, the only sad thing is that it's over and we're back in LA :(

So we started our trip Friday morning around 6.30. We drove down to San Diego to get R's license which took us around 2 hours. Drove to Coronado Island, went to Starbucks and had a coffee. The weather was beautiful!! After Coronado Island we drove as close to Mexico as we could. We saw Mexico right from there, houses packed all together and a huge flag somewhere far, far away! After driving around for an hour we decided to start driving to Arizona, Phoenix that would be our second stop. It took us a while, around 6 hours I believe to get there. In Phoenix we checked out 'downtown' quick. Went to a hotel and asked what was going on that night and one of the staff members recommended us to go to Tempe and so we did. We had planned to go there the day after but stayed in Tempe. We went out for dinner and walked around Tempe, what a beautiful and CLEAN city. During our 2 hour walk we saw 1 homeless person, would you walk around here in LA/ Santa Monica a Friday night, you would most likely see many more. Anyways, I love Tempe, it's not really a big city but I got such a good feeling being there. We got back to the hotel and I took a long bath and then we watched TV for the rest of the night.

We woke up pretty early, ate some breakfast and then drove to the Tempe Beach Park and took some pictures and after that to Papago Park, we got some really cool pictures there too. After driving around for a while and taking pictures we drove back to Phoenix to take a walk through the city. We could not believe it was so empty and quite. It was Saturday and definitely not what we expected. But to be honest it was pretty nice and relaxing, compared to LA where crazy people are everywhere. Phoenix was the opposite!

Around noon we started our drive towards Salton Sea and Bombay Beach. This place totally amazing. Again to see a place that have been totally abandoned. Even tho some people are still living there, to drive around and see so many trailers, houses empty and destroyed is sad but still so beautiful. We took many pictures here that I will upload later, so that you can get a picture of what it looked like!

After visiting Salton Sea we stopped in Palm Desert I think to get some pictures of the beautiful sand dunes! We continued our drive to Palm Springs and got there around 6. We ate at Palm Greens cafe where I had a yummy vegan burger! We checked in at a motel, not very nice but it was alright for one night. After unpacking our car we went downtown Palm Springs, and after that to the movies. If you were thinking watching Skyline, don't, that's all I have to say about that! After the movies we went back to our motel and relaxed before falling a sleep. Had a wonderful night's sleep. We woke up around 8 and took the car to Nature's health food (or something like that), and had a vegan breakfast. Even R did and he loved his burger, I knew it! We started driving to Big Bear around 10 and were there around 12, quick ride. It was SO cold up there, didn't really have enough clothes but fortunately this was the end of our trip so more clothes were not really needed. Had a quick lunch and R told me he had a surprise. He tied a T-shirt around my face and started driving.. I think I fell asleep and I woke up to hear him say 'Don't look now whatever you do, stay in the car I'll be right back'.. Ok, I did.. After a while he made me walking and took the t-shirt off my face and there I saw pigs and coats, ahhh, so cute!! 30 min later we got our horses and went on an hour long horseback ride. It was such a wonderful ride, so quite and relaxing. The weather was wonderful and simply.. perfect! Everybody who knows me, know that there's no better surprise than something that includes animals. Oh, I was (am) so happy, thanks R, I love u so much. After the horseback ride we took some pictures of the Big Bear lake, before driving up to Arrowhead , maybe you've seen the name on water bottles? The ride there was crazy, up and down, to the left to the right. Urk. We arrived around 5, walked around the little town. A small town but such a cozy place, we had a last dinner at a Thai restaurant, I don't know why I ate just before getting in the car because the food I ate came back up. On our drive back home we stopped and took some pictures of beautiful LA, the sunset and all the lights, so pretty.

Got back home around 8 and for once, it's not even 'nice' to be back home. I wanna travel the world and see all beautiful places. I like LA, but I don't love it here. All other places I go to, I kind of fall in love. Maybe it's time to move somewhere else...? But I do have my heart here now, because my love is here with me. And as long as we are together, it's all good. Over and out :)

I am sitting in bed, so comfy I could fall asleep any minute. But, before I do I have to read my psychology notes for tomorrow, another exam. Turning in my 3rd essay, easy and fun writing this time, me LIKE. I am done with my fashion project, I only need to glue it all on my boards, yay. On Thursday we have presentations which I am not a big fan of but whatever, have to get used to it someday right!? Only 2 more days and the week is over, haha so funny that I can't wait for Thursday to come. But I really just want November 23 to come, so fast. So looking forward to Thanksgiving and spending time with my love, Oooh!

Okay, back to my psychology notes. By the way, fall is here, or was today. It's cold and windy, love it. Have a great week, I am going to be very busy but I will talk to you soon.

Extra productive! Oh yes!

I love getting up early at weekends (early means around 8), and start doing my homework. I have been so productive today, I am almost done writing my third essay about the Hell's Angels. Very interesting book even tho I find it kind of boring at the same time. I for sure know a lot more now than I did before about these odd people..

Had a yummy dinner at Buddhas Belly here in Santa Monica last night. We also had a serious talk about the future, things have been rocky lately. Mostly because of our living situation and income, no $$ make things hard! We have decided to find a new place after Christmas to make things better, none us are very happy about our current living situation. I can't wait to move out of here and get our own place. By the way, Buddhas Belly had plenty of vegan alternatives, Me like!!

Yesterday I also went to a fabric store and got all swatches I needed, plus the boards. I was out looking for all stuff I needed for over 3 hours, that's what you get when you have to ride the bus/ walk ;) I will start sketching the designs tomorrow or later this afternoon, very excited!! I made a yummy breakfast this morning and did the laundry, finally! Finishing up my my essay now and then meeting with R to have a nice lunch somewhere by the beach. Aaahh I love weekends! Sorry about another messy update, I am simply doing too many things at one time, haha!!

It's still very hot and sunny. I feel the opposite, inside and out. At times I feel really lost, without my friends who know me and without my family. Miss simple things like hanging out with my good friends, eat and drink and just feel happy, light.. I need some changes in my life, once again. I have realized that I am old enough to start something long lasting. I want people I can trust, weather it is a friend from here or back home. I am sick of meeting shallow people, who doesn't think about anything in life except themselves. I need inspiration and friendship. I skyped with Mommy today and it is always a help. Always some good advice, the hardest part is to follow it. Most of the time you keep walking the same road, to scared of whatever will be waiting if you choose another..

Summer in LA!

Hi friends!

I can see that it's a week since I updated my blog, have had a crazy week in many different ways!! On Thursday we finally got to do the Midterm in Fashion, think it went great. On Friday I went to the DMV which I knew would be a pain in the ASS and I was SO RIGHT! When I 'checked' in I told the lady that somehow my renewal of my license never got to them and got lost. She told me to just sit down and I would be able to do it right there if I had my passport and license which I did. I sat down and had to wait for 2 hours. When I was finally my turn the lady checked the form and my passport and then asked for the I-20 (which I asked twice over the phone if it would be needed and they said no as long as your visa in you passport is valid, which it is). I told her, that I was told I didn't needed it but unfortunately she couldn't do anything about it, what a surprise. I had to walk back home and get it, and then sit for another 1,5 hrs waiting. When I finally asked, how long will it take before I get my license? She replayed probably about 6 months. Seriously, she must be kiddin me!! Arhhhg...

Anyways, Friday we stayed at home and didn't do much. Saturday we went out for lunch and then got ready for Halloween :) We went to Jim's place in Silverlake before going to Burbank to meet Amanda and Hayden. After that we went to a 'pre-party' and then on to a house party in Hollywood. Wow that was pretty crazy, tons of people, beer, booze and smoke, haha. Overall a great night but was nice to get back home after a looooong day/ night. Can't remember what we did during the day on Sunday.. Hmm.. But we once again got ready and dressed up a little before taking the scooter (yeah I know, you are probably laughing right now, but we passes ALL cars and was so easy to find parking ;) to West Hollywood and the annual Halloween Carnaval. Met up with Stephanie who's back in the US, walked around and looked at all crazy people being dressed up to whatever, so much fun!!

This week is almost over, again!! Went to the Counter today with Ingrid and her boyfriend for lunch, so nice to just hang out! 2 more classes tomorrow but TONS of homework. This weekend I'll have enough to do, I am kind of stressed already :( We got our English essays back today and got another A on my paper, so happy! I gotta do my sketches for my Fashion class for tomorrow and I believe it will take some time so I should get started.. I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween! Now I am looking forward to Thanksgiving :)!!

Thankful and happy.

Got some mail from my old host family today and I was so nervous about getting an old doctors bill. I received a new $420 bill and was pretty upset. One minute later I opened all other mail and found one from my insurance company that stated a payment from them. AHHH relief! I mean, I knew they would eventually pay it but it's bugging me not knowing and fighting for something I shouldn't have to fight for. So thankful, really made my day!!

The DMV on the other hand, haven't impressed me yet. I had to wait for ages for my license last year. About two months ago I sent in the paperwork to them for getting a new license since the one I got is valid only for a year, sigh.. The man told me 'unfortunately it must have gotten lost somehow, I am so sorry. You have to come to our office, take a new picture, do the vision test etc. I thought I was done with the DMV, that I wouldn't have to go there again, I was so wrong. It just got lost, what a joke. Not that I should be surprised, this happened with the insurance as well (of course when I mailed something to them and not vice versa) and also with the Au Pair agency, plus paperwork from SMC. Great job America ;) This never happened to me, ever in Sweden but I guess here it's more common that this just get lost. Whatever, pain in the ass but I'm dragging my sad ass over to DMV Friday morning, wish me luck!

I have my midterm in Fashion tomorrow + math and I'm ready to take some time off doing homework and enjoy Halloween, it's gonna be so much fun! Can't wait to get my 'costume' on!! I'm getting all cozy, in my pajama, ready to watch a movie, eat olives and chips, YUM!

Oh I have had such a lazy morning, I was supposed to read my psych notes but haven't even touched it. Instead I took a long shower, did my nails and did my make up. I feel very happy and there's many things coming up that I look forward too. First all it's Halloween this weekend and I'm SO excited!! I forgot I have to print my English homework so gotta walk myself to school right now. Have a wonderful day, I can see through my window it's sunny, the question is if it's hot or not. Here in California you never know! ;)

So, I started my movie night early, hosted by myself and spent with myself. Best way to relax on a lazy day. I am almost done doing my homework for today but will finish later tonight. I did my math exam today but not my fashion midterm. One girl in the class apparently was told it was on Thursday and she couldn't get over the fact that the teacher told her so. The whole class ended up listening to the teacher lecturing as usual, how nice.. Eeh not. Kind of annoying but she better have us do it on Thursday! I have had a great day so far, I'm very happy that half of the Fall semester is over :)

Going to see a counselor tomorrow to plan for the Winter semester, unfortunately not too many classes to choose between, boo. I'm starving as usual, time to make myself some yummy food. Have a great evening friends!!

Oh, I'm such a bad student. I have 2 tests coming up for tomorrow but I just can't get myself together and do what I should. I did my math homework earlier last week and I feel like I know it all. Amazingly, when I actually do the test I all of the sudden know nothing. How is that possible, haha. We are allowed to use a 'tool-kit' but I haven't filled a single box out yet but will do later. I feel like this test will be hard but hopefully I'll pass. I have my first mid term tomorrow in Fashion, shouldn't be too hard but you never know. The easiest subject can be hard if the teacher makes the questions super complicated.

I don't know when I updated last time but probably last week. On Friday me and R went to the Beverly Centre and West Pavilion Mall. I found 2 dresses and A LOT of other stuff. Jackets, make up, Halloween stuff, underwear, earrings etc. On Saturday we were just chillin' at home till 3 or so when we took off to Archlight in Hollywood. Went the Beneath the Blue's premier and had a great night. After the premier we went to Atlantic Bar and Grill, had too many free drinks, mingled before we took off to La Vida. Ended the night at some other bar that I don't remember the name of before taking a cab back home to Santa Monica. Awesome night! Woke up early Sunday morning and when R got up he took me out for lunch, a Thai place near the beach, not very impressed. Like my vegan places better ;) Over all, great weekend, not a lot of studying for once, thank god but I better start.. NOW!!

From sunshine to rain.

Thank you dear weather for giving me such a lovely, wonderful migraine. I'm unable to express my gratefulness. Yack is all I have to say. BUT, another week is finally wrapped up, had my last classes today and I am ready to have a relaxing Friday. Not that is going to be much relaxing, I'm getting up at 8 to skype with my best friend Sara and hopefully my amazing Mom. Both their birthdays are coming up and tomorrow I better go to the post office so that you can get your little gifts not too late, haha.

R and I are going to a red-carpet event on Saturday, a movie premier that he's boss invited us to!! I'm very excited except the fact that I have to buy a new dress and I walked all around Santa Monica today and couldn't find ANYTHING I like, is that possible? Usually not, but hey, we all know that when you look for something it's really hard to find 'the one piece'. That's why you have to buy it that day you actually don't 'need' it, so that you have it in your closet the day you do, right? Anyways, hopefully I can force R to drive me to the Beverly Center, hopefully I'll find something nice and not too expensive!

I'm gonna take a long shower + a migraine pill. Hoping that my Love comes home before I go to sleep :) Take care you guys, talk to you soon!!

My love is long gone, catching his dreams, snoring like a little baby. An once again I wish I was him. It's only 12.05AM but, I can already feel this is going to be a long night. I tried going to bed about 2 hours ago since I barely slept last night, I thought I was gonna fall asleep super fast but guess I was wrong :( There is nothing I can do and I need to be quite as a mouse, not waking up R, not that I think he would wake up anyway but who knows. I might just snuggle up in bed with him and give it another shot. Sleep tight friends and I'm gonna try my hardest (to relax and think about absolutely nothing except falling asleep)..

Hey you.

It's bee a pretty long day. Woke up early and took off to school around 10 to print some assignments. I had my Psych class but we did not get our exams back, boo. Now I have to wait till next week, not fair :( During my 1,5 hr break I met up with Ingrid, very nice and I wish we could do that more often and hopefully we will! I just realized that pretty much all friends I had in the states have been single at the time I met them and now, so many of them have boy/girlfriends. Kind of interesting as you get older how you start haning out more with couples, haha.

Today I also realized how much I miss having my own place. I have lived in several collecitves, w/ families for almost 3 years.Wish we I could get my own apartment with R but it's pretty expensive here if you want something nice and another thing is the stupid lease they always have for renting. You never know what you get here in the US and I am for sure not signing a one year lease except if the aparmtment/ building is remodeled or new! A lease for a couple of months is OK tho but not for a whole year. We are on a 4 months lease now (I think), not that we signed anything but of course we want our 600$ deposit back so better make sure we get it. But after Christmas it's def. time to find a new place, and I can't wait, ahhh.

Oh LORD I'm so damn tired. R woke me up at 3.30 AM before he took off and I was awake till 7 or so. At 8 when I woke up I was already exhausted, I really need a good night's sleep very soon. I did my psychology exam, turned in my counseling assignment and did my quiz in English. Puh. When I got back home I finished my project for tomorrow and now I'm trying to go over the presentation and it's not a lot of fun. I'm not a big fan of presentations and always tend to get so nervous I say something totally different that I planned.. MY LOVE is still working and I miss him! I have the desk for myself and that's the only good thing ;) I'm so proud of you babe, GO you!!

Alright, I better finish up my presentation..

Btw, it's raining, the fall is here and I love it.

My boyfriend got a 'job'!

HI!

It's Sunday and I am in a pretty good mood but at the same time annoyed. Is that possible? Yes. Every time I look at my boyfriend (he's sitting 1 inch away from me) I get so happy, he's the best. Really. And every time I look back at my computer I see 3 deadlines for tomorrow and I get annoyed that I have so much homework to do over the weekend and never have time to just relax and enjoy life. I have an Psychology test for tomorrow and I think it's going to be pretty hard. I have one assignment for my counseling class for tomorrow, we have 2 (!) homework assignments during the entire semester and of course one is due tomorrow, yippee. I have to finish reading and answering all questions for Hell's Angels. Plus print my 20 pictures for my Fashion project and before that walk to Staples to buy new ink (yes, sure that also had to happen yesterday). It's just too many things to do in one day.

R got a internship, unpaid first weeks but I hope he'll get paid after. I just told him I need a more 'housewife-ish' style since I work so hard in school. For example doing my nails, going horseback riding once a week, massage etc. That would make my life so much better. But anyways, life is good :) Last night we got wine, chips, dip, candy etc and had a lovely relaxing evening at home. I just wish I had more time, I feel like I don't have time for anything these days. Not even going to the gym anymore, I am only out walking and running. Ok, I Started my sit ups/ squat schedule last night, that's gonna be it for now. Gotta finish my homework load.

Falling .. a .. sleep..

Ohh.. hey.. Woke up early this morning and was kept awake almost the entire night. Some lovely neighbors decided to stay up till 5 in the morning arguing. And as said before, I am not a deep sleeper. Eventually I started banging the wall (I know that sounds crazy but.. I had to do something), I was so exhausted by being awake and how odd it might sound I was dying to sleep. They actually lowered their voices and I guess I fell sleep after that.. At 7 when my phone rang I was totally exhausted and I still am, haha.

I only had math today, (plus SI), I was supposed to go on a filed trip with my fashion class but that didn't happen. Our teacher somehow decided to not schedule the trip when we actually have class (is that normal?), but in the morning. I am not doing very well in math and need all help I can get during classes so I decided I couldn't skip the class I am actually scheduled to have to go on a field trip and that's bad. I would have loved to go there. Another time maybe.

During the day I got some time off between studying and went to different stores here in Santa Monica with R. I got some stuff for Halloween but still need to buy a couple of more things before my outfit looks amazing ;) Or amazing is not the right word but you'll see ;)

R's parents are coming for thanksgiving, can't wait!! We're going away for a couple of days and I SO need it. Need a break from school already, who would have ever thought school could be so tiring?

Ok, I am studying right now. Reading Hell's Angels by Hunter S. Thompson and have to answer 21 questions that will be on the quiz for Monday. Ugh. I better learn soon how to memorize a text so that I actually remember something (anything) after reading. Sometimes I just space out all of the sudden, like I did now. No more, I am a student these days, gotta take it seriously ;)

Found my keys today that I thought I lost a month ago. Today, while walking up the stairs I saw my winter jacket and instantly thought; keys.. I checked the first pocket and there they were, WAAA! I'v seriously been looking EVERYWHERE and I'm so glad I found them :)

Had a great day in school today, met up with Ingrid and Sharon during my break and was great to see them! After school I worked a little on my math and had some dinner. R and I went to a Halloween Costume store here in Santa Monica. I actually found many costumes nice but not the 'perfect' one, haha. R forced me to try this Avatar one, nice huh? I think I will go for something more sexier ;)

I'm really looking forward to Halloween, had so much fun last year, and the year before too! Hopefully this year will be slightly better!!

Alright, that's it. Math tomorrow morning and then 3 days off!! Will definitely have to do some homework this weekend, have a test and project due on Monday/ Tuesday. Think I'll be able to squeeze in some fun too!

It's later and I did all math homework, I got most of it right, YAY! I feel pretty good today even tho I barely slept last night. My insomnia is coming back and I don't like it! I took a 30 minute nap today but that shouldn't screw up my whole night OR it might. If so, I will promise myself never taking a nap again, haha. Okay, I have 3 more classes this week and that's pretty awesome. It's time to find a costume for Halloween which is SO HARD! I have so many alternatives and there's so much out there. How am I going to find only 1? Anyways, that's my mission for this week :)

Sometimes I run, sometimes I hide.

So what is going on? It is Monday, which means I spent all day at school, pretty relaxing day. No exams or test. Just turned in my rough draft for my English class and we did some peer-reviewing, not too exhausting. I don't know why but my motivation is not on top these days. I like school but to be honest there is plenty of things that are not 100% good at Santa Monica College. As an international student you pay $$$ to go to school in the US and somehow I just feel like I want something more out of it. I already had several exams graded incorrectly by different teachers. Some promised to give exams back on a given day but didn't. Quizzes haven been pushed weeks due to bad (no?) planning. I have never been to a university in Sweden so I can't say that it is any different but in my eyes, these things combined, is a pretty low standard. Maybe I am just too hard but if teachers expect things from their students, we are allowed expect things too, right?

Anyways, this first semester is a try out. I want to make sure it is 'worth' staying. That I actually enjoy my studying and learn something, otherwise there are school's all over the world that would maybe be a better fit for me. The general education thing here in the US is a waste of a time too but that's just the way it is. About 2,5 months left till Winter Break (YIPPIIIEEEE!!!) and I hope I can keep my spirits up, but it's not always that easy.

I just wanted to add that just because I live in Los Angeles (why that now is so fancy?) my life is not always a dream. I have to work just as hard as anybody else and even tho there's so many things I love about L.A, believe me, there negative aspects too. For example, being away from your friends is not always that easy. I mean, I have met SO many great people since I moved to the US! But honestly, I had my really close friends on the East Coast, here, I don't. I am a lucky girl tho, I have the best boyfriend and without him I wouldn't have a lot :)

Okay I don't know how this post got so long, haha. I should be working on my designer project but as I said I don't have a whole lot of motivation today. Hopefully I will tomorrow.

Yesterday we watched Everything is Fine, great, but what a sad movie. Watch it!! We are about to watch The Painted Veil now so I gotta finish up!

Hey!

It's Sunday night, me and my love just got back from Ralph's. I got some chips and soy ice-cream, a serious reward for working so hard on my English essay. I have been looking for articles all weekend and I will never again read obesity newspaper articles, haha!

We went to Real Food Daily last night and had some awesome Vegan food, thanks babe, you always know how to make me happy again! The dessert was super delicious but did not beat the one I had last time :)

I am done doing my homework for tonight and ready watch a movie or two and eat some junk food. Ops.

Ugh, I am up early. Went out last night and actually had a nice evening at Cabo Cantina, did not end as well as it stared but hey, that's why I am not a big fan of drinking too much. Bullshit always tend to come along! Glad I got out of the apartment for at least one night. Didn't really work on my essay yesterday, could not find any good articles so I'm giving it a second try now :/

Finally got to wear my fall clothing, nice and warm. Me like! We got an extra assignment this week (again) for my Fashion class. Started earlier today and just finished, have been grocery shopping and doing some other homework in between. Glad that I finished up since I have English and Psychology to focus on for tomorrow. I start 11.15 which feels like a relieve! I can't sleep well at night and I am exhausted when it's time to get up. I hope for some changes for tonight. I love sleeping when I am actually able to. Not like most lucky bastards (R), who could fall asleep pretty much anywhere in anytime (1-2 minutes), that's something! Getting really tired..

Btw, I love the rain. I don't know why I hear complaining everywhere, come on, it's California. We don't get a whole lot of rain, it's actually pretty nice and good for the trees and grass as Tia would have said :) Except Americans don't know how to drive and sometimes it ends in an accident. Today when I walked over to Ralph's I got proof that Americans are not very.. hmm .. good.. at driving (when it's rainy!). Luckily it won't last for too long and I guess it's for the best ;) Ok, enough. Gotta sleep. Hope your day was as good as mine!

Had a great day in school today. It's raining and I love it! When I got back home I had gotten an envelope with a little gift in. I was a little confused and wondered who'd sent it to me. Flipped it over and discovered it was from Linda, made me so happy. Got a beautiful ring and such a nice letter, thanks honey. U made my day. Miss u so much!

Bored inside and out!

All of the sudden I just got bored. Bored of doing my homework, bored of sitting reading a good book, bored of eating the same food I eat everyday, bored of walking to the same school I walk to everyday, WHAT HAPPENED? Well I guess it's just a down-period (down-day).. I just feel like I want something different, I had this feeling before and sometimes it just disappears as fast as it came and sometimes not. I hope it does disappear soon :) I have been doing math literally all day, SO BORING. I feel like I'm wasting my time doing all that and I don't even think its a bit fun. At all. Boo! Also, the little Rocks left today and I got used to have a dog after 4/5 days. I want a dog (not that I have time but I still want one). I feel very thoughtful and can't concentrate, my mind just goes blank when I try to focus. One of these days, daydreaming of a life filled with $$-bills, nice restaurants and wine, clubs and champagne, shopping and expensive clothing, a luxury apartment to share with my love. Well, I'm unfortunately a poor student so that will probably be just a dream for a while. OK, enough complaining or whatever I am doing :) I just need some changes, as I always do. Tomorrow, a new week and new opportunities, looking forward to that! Hope ya all had a joyful weekend!

It's 1.30AM and we're about to go to bed. Watched two movies tonight (or actually, half only because they both sucked)! I'v been doing some homework today and we've been out several times walking the dog + taking pictures, pretty nice! I have 2 tests on Tuesday and it's kind of stressing me out but whatever, 2 more days left for studying, puuh!

I was supposed to study after my walk in the morning but I fell back to sleep and apparently it's 11.40 now, SHIT. The past week was pretty busy as usual, a lot of homework and tests and quizzes. Next week another fashion test and math exam, boo I don't want to :)
Rob has been away for 2 days and he's coming back today, wihoo!! This weekend will be pretty chill weekend I think, the weather is still nice so will be out walking and running everyday! Maybe the beach if we get time. Doggy needs another walk now! Have a wonderful weekend friends!

Short update:

Friday: Had my day off, went to Universal to check out the new ride = king kong. Not worth going all the way there on the scooter but if you are in the area, do it! Worked on my essay the rest of the day, kind of sucked but what to do. Took forever to find all articles and that's just the way it is!

Saturday: Went to the SM beach, weather was PERFECT! Went out for a long run in the evening, aaah! Met a little black widow on the way, kinda gross if you ask me! I'll keep my eyes open from now on, haha!

Sunday: Did write my outline and found the last articles needed for my second essay. Took a walk town to 3rd street to check if Adidas had some catalogs for my #2 project in Fashion, they didn't. Too bad. R and I took some pictures on the freeway and that's it!

Gotta eat something, starving!!

Satisfied with life and very, very happy to be back in school. I have tons of homework to do, as usual and my blog is dying ;) A lazy weekend passed and all I did was homework and eating + watching Heroes! Ate a lot of delicious food and had a little too much, now I want more. Bad Silvia! Have a quiz tomorrow, or two actually. Will get my math exam back too, I'm so nervous!! Wednesday English essay #1 is due and Thursday Psychology exam, nerves and neurons and so on, very interesting but.. haaaaard! Looking forward to Thursday night already!! Okay that's all time I'v got. TTYS and hope you all have more time to do exciting things cuz it feels like all I do is studying! OVER AND OUT!

HEY! I'v been studying since 10AM which means I'm allowed to take a 10 minute break, haha. A summary of the last couple of days will fallow. Sorry guys but can't go into detail (or maybe I will anyway), have to manage my time and as all my teachers say 'not wasting time' on things like my blog, facebook etc. I'm doing my best OK.

Friday: Woke up pretty late (10-ish). Cleaned and did ALL our laundry since it was all mixed dirty vs. clean, yuck. Took us pretty much all day. 10-12 loads later we had all our stuff cleaned and a very empty coin-pocket. I went to school for an hour and wrote a little on my essay. Robert picked me up and we had lunch at a Thai restaurant @ Wilshire, not the best. Went back to school to meet up with Lina and also continue writing my essay. I wasn't very productive to be honest but at least I started on my first article. Went home around 3.45 and chilled for a while with my lovely boyfriend and around 8 we walked over to Real Food Daily, a vegan restaurant on Santa Monica BLVD. Seriously the food was so good and I'm going back there ASAP. I had a sandwich and mashed potatoes and Robert a burger that looked like raw meat but of course wasn't. Funny that he couldn't get over it "Silvia this really looks like meat, like seriously it looks just like meat.. " ;) Had a bottle of sparkling wine and got a little bit drunk. Had a very nice evening with my babe. :*

Saturday: Woke up late again (11-ish). Did some math homework with mom tutoring over skype, haha. I love skype and I love my mom. Thanks for all help, but I need more. Anyone super skilled at math? Contact me please, I need you. Robert left around 3 for Bakersfield and will be back on Monday :( I decided to meet up with my classmate Lina and went to their place and also met her roommates! Wanted to go out in Hollywood and ended up at Avalon, great place but not my favorite so far. Danced for a couple of hours and was back at home around 2.30. Fell asleep like a baby in Alaska. It was freezing in our room and I probably had goosebumps for half an hour or so. Boo..

Sunday: Homework, homework, homework. Plus some eating. Okay I did go in to detail again even tho I wasn't supposed to. Gotta get back to my studies + have some lunch. Hope y' all had a nice weekend with lots of fun and sunshine :)

WEIII, I have tomorrow off but have all very well planned day ahead of me, back to school early to start the day off with a little bit of studying. Weekend, concert, school..

Another weekend plus half week passed. I have no time no more for my computer or blog, unfortunately.. School's so much fun but also lots of homework, quizzes, essays etc so it definitely keeps me busy, all the time :) We went to the LA County Fair in Pomona (45 miles away = about 72KM) on Labor day , took us 4 hours back and forth riding the scooter, haha. Cute animals everywhere like pigs, cows, ducks, bunnies that I love so much! Carolina Liar and Lifehouse concert later that night, was GREAT!

Yesterday was my 23 Birthday and it was alright, I was studying pretty much all day but I had an outline due today, what to do.. Hopefully the coming weekend will involve some partying and drinks :) I skyped with my BEST BEST friends Malin and Sara today and I miss you everyday and can't wait to see you (hopefully soon!!!)

Looks like I had a 5 minute break and that's pretty much all I get. Gotta finish my math homework and then continue with my Fashion project, woo!

Just got up, I am so damn tired. I didn't sleep very well and for the third time this week I woke up in the middle of the night. I woke up crying and I had such a bad nightmare I felt like never sleeping again. NO MORE!

Yesterday I had my math class and went to the lab an hour later. I had fashion at 12 and it was great. Got our first project, gonna be so much fun! After school I was home all afternoon studying. When Robert came home we went to Target and got some stuff for our closet and FINALLY 'moved in'. We had all our stuff downstairs but since the manager was here yesterday we could actually move in. It took around 2,5 hours to unpack all my stuff and to find space for it all. It's now packed and I don't know where anything is, haha. I seriously can't believe I have as much stuff as I do, no more shopping.. All left is our bathroom, I will start fill it up with my lotions, perfumes, make up, hair products and I bet it will soon be over-filled ;)

Robert just left for work which means I a have to start un-packing. I have a long dag ahead of me, I got homework to do from all classes I am taking. Plus it's laundry day, today!

I stared school on Monday and it's been three crazy, hectic and super busy days!! My first class Monday morning was Psychology 2.

PSYCH 2, Physiological Psychology 3 units This introductory course emphasizes the biological approach and methods as tools for adding to our understanding of human psychology. Information about the functioning of the human nervous system is used to provide insight into mental, emotional, and behavioral processes. The role of biological factors underlying sensation, perception, motivation, learning, thinking, language processes, and psychopathology is stressed.

Very interesting class and the teacher is great! Second class that I only have Mondays, Couns11. A mandatory class for all international students. Maybe it will help me to choose my major. It is a difficult decision since I am very interested in both Fashion and Psychology.

After Couns11 I have my ENGL 1 class, Reading and Composition 1. 3 units. This introductory course in rhetoric emphasizes clear, effective written communication and preparation of the research paper.
This class will be harder than I thought but I am very excited because I want to be a better writer.

Tuesdays I will have math in the morning, not my favorite subject but I better improve a lot and now is the time.

MATH 84, Arithmetic Review and Pre-Algebra 3 units. This course prepares the student for Elementary Algebra. It assumes a thorough knowledge of arithmetic. Course content includes integers, signed fractions, signed decimals, grouping symbols, the order of operations, exponents, and algebraic expressions and formulas. The emphasis is on concepts essential for success in algebra.

After math I have a little break before my Fashion class. I like the teacher a lot and she seems to be pretty strict. A big plus in my eyes!

FASH 1, This course is designed to serve both students of fashion design and fashion merchandising in preparing them to become familiar with the nature of fashion design and its components and to understand how environmental factors influence the style, color, texture, and design of garments. Fashion materials, theories of fashion adoption, sources of design inspiration, and manufacturing a garment will be discussed.

I already have homework to do and better stop writing now. Messy post again, I am sorry. Still a lot on my mind :) That's all for today!

Yesterday we packed our rental car and left our room in Redondo Beach. Took an hour to pack the car and after 3 hours we were pretty much done. It feels so good to finally be living in Santa Monica, a new life - a new start. Our room is definitely nicer here in SM!! We haven't unpacked all our stuff yet tho. The manager is coming on Tuesday to check the room if they former roommates cleaned it properly etc (they didn't..)

We walked around in SM all evening yesterday and stopped for a Margarita somewhere on 3rd St Promenade. Today we had lunch @ Golden Mean Vegan Cafe, I had a sandwich and Robert a burger, so yummy! We also passes a pet store and they had rescue dogs and we went in to take a look. I almost started crying.. I love animals so much and wish I could help them all. Some of them look happy but some so sad I just wanna hold them and pet them all day and all night. I admire people who put their soul in these kind of things. Hopefully one day soon I will be able to get a doggy from one of these places.

Anyways, we're @ Coffee Bean right now, won't have internet at home till Tuesday. Tomorrow I start school and I am so excited! I have Psychology, English and Counseling. Probably going to the gym for a turbokickboxing-pass with Robert in the evening. Went to the gym today for the first time and I already miss my Hermosa-gym! I will get used to the one here tho, it's HUGE :)

Kind of a messy post today but I have so much on my mind I am not able to focus 100%!

AT&T ***** ***!! I'm really upset!! I ordered my phone 2 days ago and yesterday R got a mail that he needed to identify himself. We called this morning and according to the guy he didn't have enough information so he told us he was going to cancel the order and suggested us to go to an At&t store.

The thing is, we already went there 3 weeks ago and they told us we could order it online and bla bla bla. So today when we went back, we selected a plan and we're ready to pay, and that's when they tell us they need a major credit card. A debit is not OK and you can't even pay for it all in the store! How insane is that, so now I can't order the 4G in store either!! They are driving my nuts! Tomorrow I am going to the apple store (went there already), but they told me the 1st time R has to be there too since the 1st line is on his name, got it. The second time they didn't have it. But I have a good feeling about tomorrow!! :)

R left an hr ago and I am still reading Hell's Angels, just chillin at home. Having lunch with Alexane in a little while, I'm already starving (as usual!).

Better take a quick shower before I leave!

Off to Amanda's & Hayden's in a little while. Eating my oatmeal-breakfast as usual! Yesterday after chillin @ Steph's we went to Amanda's for a an hour just talking and hanging out by the pool. Today we're taking the scooter back and it's the only non-pleasant thing about my Sunday. It takes an hour and a half to get to Burbank and since my throat hurts again, I have a feeling about getting worst sitting driving the scooter. Anyways, it's worth for a Sunday BBQ and again, the weather's amazing. Love life! Hope you get to enjoy the sun, too

Welcome to my sunny day, my sunny day, every day, a better day..

Woo! Finally sunny and HOT in Redondo Beach. Usually it's 5 degrees below Hollywood temperature but today I am pleased!! I do wish so bad we had a little nice patio, a pool or just a grassy yard but unfortunately; No! I went to the South Bay Galleria today since it is the only mall I am willing to walk to. I bought a card for my babe who's graduating on Friday, I am so excited about the screening and it will be so much fun!!

After the mall I decided to go lay in the sun and work on my tan. I went to a grassy field 1 block from our apartment. I am glad I was able to lay down for 1 hr till I felt a spider crawling on me. Of course I started screaming and packed my bag fast, not going back there. Ever.

I am back home now and will take a long shower in case I would have any spiders in my hair or anywhere else, you never know. I want to make sure I didn't bring any home! Boooo for spiders!! Have a wonderful day friends!
